Additional Info:	I hold a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and have worked in the field of math tutoring for over 30 years. For the past ten I have run my private tutoring business. My skills are best utilized in the areas of advanced courses such as AP, IB and gifted programs – including university and university prep courses; however, I do posses the knowledge and expertise to assist in all math courses currently offered at the high school level. I have an innate passion for the subject which translates into fun, ease-filled sessions and a unique approach to the support of students. If you would allow me, this is a breakdown of my support system: I work from home; west end of GTA Sessions are 1 ½ hours long; this allows time for the student to develop his/her knowledge and confidence The sessions usually run this way: I cover the weekly material to ensure no gaps in knowledge – on occasion students aren’t aware of what they don’t know I go over sample problems, and The main section of the session is dedicated to the student working out problems under my guidance. All weekly students have free telephone access to me; this allows me to assist them in their homework assignments I have found that working as a team with dedicated teachers, students are able to build the knowledge, confidence and self-esteem required to succeed not only in their math studies but to extend this achievement to well past their high school years.
Fees:	I do not charge by the hour since my approach to tutoring is one of 24/7 support. I see students on a weekly basis and as stated above, I provide FREE phone support in between sessions. My rate per session (including H.S.T,) varies; it depends on whether you pay as you go or choose to invest in 4, or in 8 sessions in advance. It also depends on whether you wish services for high school or university math.
