I am a qualified Primary School Teacher and I believe that all learning should be fun and engaging for the child. I am a reading, writing and numeracy specialist for the age group 5-11. I have taught a range of year groups and have also taught a focus group in both numeracy and literacy for children with learning difficulties. In addition to this, I have worked as a teacher trainer in The Gambia. In this role, I taught maths at the teacher training college and helped headmasters improve the teaching and learning in their schools. I also created a teacher training DVD on the teaching of reading during my stay in the Gambia. I am now working as a 1 to 1 tutor (based in a Bristol primary school), as well as a private tutor.
