Additional Info:	Tutoring Experience: I am a specialist tutor of Mathematics and have been tutoring for 8 years. I have a sound knowledge of the school curriculum framework and requirements of NCEA particularly with the recent changes with Mathematics. I provide private Mathematics and Statistics tuition to students from year 5 to year 12 including NCEA level 1, 2 & 3 and Unit Standards. I am also a tutor for adult students completing further studies with numeracy. Diploma in Specialist Subjects Mathematics & Technology, Diploma in Teaching Secondary, New Zealand Certificate in Engineering Mechanical Full professional memeber of NZ Tutoring Association. Tutoring Approach: Firstly, I like to get to know about a students hobbies, sports and other interests. With an understanding of what interests a student, I try to make connections in Mathematics and engage them in learning. As the student builds in confidence I begin looking for areas in maths that are not as well understood with small assessment tasks and carefully worded questions. I then prepare interesting, engaging lessons to help build confidence, skills and knowledge. I display patience, a positive attitude, enthusiasm and dedication in my work as a tutor.
