Additional Info:	My tutoring style focuses on understanding concepts, not simply getting the right answers. This emphasis improves retention and helps students apply their knowledge to new problems. Rather than giving answers easily, I ask questions to lead the student in solving problems, which promotes greater confidence in their own abilities. Whenever possible, I use hands-on exercises, analogies, manipulatives, and exploration to help students visualize abstract concepts and discover principles for themselves. Learning can be hard work at times, but I strive to make it exciting and rewarding. I love watching light bulbs turn on! I look forward to working with you to prepare for a class, understand material in a class you are currently taking, or discover enrichment topics beyond what is taught in a class. For homeschool students, I can teach courses that are beyond their parents' experience, individually or in groups.
Fees:	$ 23.00 Dollars Per Hour A free evaluation is available before you pay anything. Volume discount packages are priced at $180 for nine one-hour sessions or six 90 minute sessions. When traveling more than 15 min, there is a nominal fee to offset the cost.
