Additional Info:	I have a bachelors degree in Biology and Math from Macalester College and an MBA from the University of New Mexico, Anderson Schools of Management. I have experience in private tutoring in the areas of basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra and English at the mid and high school levels. I have also performed Math tutoring at the grade school and mid school levels within the school system. I believe there is a variety of ways to approach a problem and understand the importance of incorporating various methods, given the different learning styles specific to each student. I've experienced a great deal of fulfillment in being able to help someone understand a problem and enjoy working on a one-to-one basis. I took a 14-year hiatus from my professional life, when my children were young in order to stay home and raise them. I re-entered the workforce on a part-time basis about 3 years ago, and held the position of Financial Specialist at a web development company, where my responsibilities included tasks in which I was able to use both my math and writing skills.
