Additional Info: I have been providing a valuable service as an instructor of English as a second or foreign language throughout Mexico and the UK for several years to academic institutions, international businesses and on a private basis. I am capable of supporting any level of comprehension from non-speaker through to advanced. The courses I have delivered have dealt with a variety of topics including every day essential English, business studies, conversation class, TOEFL and TOEIC. I also strive to meet individual requirements while encouraging interaction as a group through a stimulating mix of material developing fundamental language skills, confidence and enthusiasm towards learning. To maintain a high success rate, monitoring of progress from placement testing and continuous assessment is essential to progress and complements the preparation for the end of course examination and success.
My employers have described me as an outstanding and distinguished professional excelling in school and curriculum development, management and teaching. This has led to formal recognition via an award for excellence and a reputation of achieving high success rates throughout the geographical area in which I have lived and worked. To those I have worked with closely I have become a trusted teacher, mentor and friend as I have done my best to help students in whichever way I can.
As a professional, I appreciate the desire to progress in one’s career or education and as a mother and wife of an immigrant family, I am in the unique position of experiencing the same concerns and aspirations of those I have worked with and can truly understand the need to grow together to build a prosperous and fulfilling future in the UK.
I would like to follow this letter with a meeting with yourself in the next few weeks to discuss potential opportunities.
