Additional Info:	Tutoring gives me to opportunity to specifically design lessons for each individuals need, that way I know they will get the most out of the lesson which is much more rewarding for me. I recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a First Class honors degree in mathematics so feel confidently tutoring in this subject for any level up to, and including A level maths. I volunteered as a classroom assistant for three weeks in a local secondary school. During this time I shadowed the teachers in the mathematics department and witnessed different methods of teaching for different age ranges and abilities. I also had chance to plan lessons for, and teach, small groups of children. As part of my mathematics degree at Sheffield Hallam University I researched and produced a report on the national curriculum for key stages 3 and 4 so have good knowledge of what is taught within schools. I understand that the new national curriculum is being brought in at the start of the next academic year and I am interested in keeping up with whatever changed have been made. Although my experience has mostly been in secondary schools I have personally researched how mathematics can be taught to primary school students, and I am aware of what is on the national curriculum and required of them at key stage 1 and 2.
