Additional Info:	As a professional tutor since 1997, I have had the privilege to affect lives in a profound way. After raising and homeschooling four children, I returned to university to obtain a B.A. in Music History. Post graduate work consisted of certification as a dyslexia specialist and training to administer dyslexia assessments, as well as the Canadian Achievement Test (CAT 2). I own and operate Pathway Education Services in Oshawa where I have trained other teachers, who work for me, in the Reading Therapy program. At Pathway we tutor reading, writing, math, and French, and I provide assistance to candidates preparing for the police and firefighters exams. Privately, at home, I teach piano, accordion, and theory. This keeps me in touch with my artistic side.
