Additional Info:	Greetings, My work as a professor (Health Care Economics, Ethics and Nursing) has taught me what students need to be ready for college or graduate school. That's why I tutor primarily high school students taking AP or IB courses as well as those preparing for their ACT/SAT/ACCUPLACER or ASVAB exams. At the college level my tutoring includes psychology courses, biology, chemistry (inorganic and organic), nursing (undergraduate and graduate), economics, ethics, sociology and philosophy (usually ethics) as well as English and math through calculus. My college-level tutorees are also students taking the PRAXIS, HESI, MCAT, LSAT, GRE and GMAT exams. One of my primary tutoring groups these days are International Nurses who come to the US and need to prepare for the NCLEX exam as well as American nursing-program graduates who want or need a more intense program of instruction than a large group experience can provide. The 98.8% pass rate of this group after taking part in the Starting Point RN program we developed at SUMMIT Coaching Solutions has won this course national aclaim and many of our students come to us on referral from their countrymen or their immigration attorneys. Tutoring in the 21st century takes place in many formats: in person (still my favorite way), by skype or via webinar applications. I use GotoTraining for webinars because it allows me to give test questions and it has a great white board system. Where ever you live in the world tutoring is easy! I realize that tutoring involves the investment of your money and your time. I bring to the table my experience, my constant updates in knowledge (something I have to do because I teach at a University and write medical articles for 2 national magazines) and I bring my belief that anyone can learn anything if we find the right way to teach! Fees:	$ 60.00 Dollars Per Hour My fee is the same for a one or a two hour session, whether done in person (in Colorado Springs) or by skype or webinar. Three and four hour sessions are billed at $50 USD per hour and anything over four hours in billed at a rate of $45 USD per hour. I bill in full hour increments and because my schedule is very full we must decide the length of time we will work together in advance of a session. My cancelation policy is simple: once a session is scheduled this time is reserved for you and the professional fee for my time is due and payable. Many of my sessions are booked far in advance and a cancelation makes it impossible to fill the slot with another student. If a true emergency arises call me. If I can find another open spot in my schedule and help you by rebooking your session I will do this; but I can't guarentee availability. Academic coaching for individuals diagnosed with ADD/ADHD or another behavioral health challenge may be reimbursed by your health insurance or repayable through use of your Medical Savings Account. This is for reimbursement purposes only but let me know if this pertains to you and I will give you a detailed report to submit. As a Certified Life Coach I am pleased to offer my clients with these needs the chance to b reimbursed for some of their fees.
